These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Most Metal Ever ("we", "us", "the site"). By accessing or using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What Most Metal Ever Is

Most Metal Ever is a fan-powered site for browsing and voting on metal bands, albums, and tracks. Band, album, and track data is sourced from the MusicBrainz open music encyclopedia. We do our best to keep this data accurate and up to date, but we can't guarantee it's complete or error-free — that's part of why we have a submission form.

Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate votes or rankings is not allowed (see Voting Integrity below).
• You can request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us (see Contact below).

Voting Integrity

Rankings only mean something if the votes behind them are genuine. We reserve the right to remove votes, suspend accounts, or take other action against anyone we reasonably believe is manipulating rankings — including coordinated brigading, scripted/automated voting, or multiple accounts controlled by the same person.

Comments, Submissions, and Other Content You Post

When you post a comment, submit a band or album, or suggest a feature, you're responsible for what you post. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and use that content in connection with operating the site. You still own what you write; you're just letting us show it.

You agree not to post or submit content that:

• Is spam, harassment, hate speech, or otherwise abusive toward another person or group
• Is illegal, or infringes someone else's copyright or other rights
• Impersonates another person or misrepresents your affiliation with anyone
• Attempts to scrape, abuse, or overload the site through automated means

We may remove any content, and suspend or terminate any account, at our discretion — including for violating these Terms, without prior notice.

Cover Art and Third-Party Content

Album cover art displayed on this site is retrieved from the Cover Art Archive and belongs to its respective copyright holders (labels, artists, or photographers). It's used here for identification purposes in connection with the corresponding release. If you're a rights holder and want an image removed, contact us and we'll take it down.

Band, album, and song names are trademarks or other intellectual property of their respective owners. Most Metal Ever isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any band, label, or artist referenced on the site.

Listen & Buy Links

Band and album pages include links to third-party platforms — Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, YouTube, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, official band/artist sites, and digital or physical purchase links — so you can listen to or buy the music. We don't control these sites and aren't responsible for their content, availability, or pricing. Some of these links may be affiliate links, meaning we could earn a commission if you make a purchase through them, at no extra cost to you.

Advertising

This site displays advertising through Google AdSense to help keep it free to use. Ads may be personalized using cookies from Google and its partners — see our Privacy Policy for details and how to opt out.

Disclaimer

The site and all its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the band/album/ track data is fully accurate or complete.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Most Metal Ever won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.
